For every kid in the Loop.

June Lake Little Loopers is an all-volunteer nonprofit serving the June Lake Loop. We raise money at our events and direct it to the local organizations already doing the work for our children.

Who we support

Local organizations, local children.

We host a small number of events each year, and the proceeds go to people and organizations already serving children in Northern Mono County. Some receive support most years. Others receive it when a particular need comes up.

Little Loopers Childcare

June Lake

A childcare home in a community this small depends on local investment to stay open. We contribute funding to help keep it running, because when childcare closes, families leave.

Little Shredders

June Mountain

Learn-to-ski and learn-to-ride for the youngest Loopers. We help cover the cost of getting local children on snow.

Youth sports

Mono County

We help local children take part in organized sport: Mono County Little League, ski PE at Lee Vining School, gymnastics, and sponsorships for individual athletes who need help with fees or equipment.

Summer camps

Mono County

We contribute funding so local children can attend summer camps, including Sierra STEM, Gardens to Galaxies, and music camp.

If your organization serves children in Northern Mono County and needs support, we would like to hear from you.

Who we are

The people behind Little Loopers.

Little Loopers volunteers gathered at a community work day in June Lake

Built by the people who live here.

The Little Loopers began as a kitchen table idea among a handful of neighbors, and it has been run the same way ever since.

Today that means unpaid volunteers who live in the Loop. The board is made up of parents and neighbors who raise the money and decide together where it goes.

There is no staff and no office. The people listed below are the organization.
