We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. We are an all-volunteer organization, so we work toward this standard as time and resources allow rather than through formal audits.
Photographs carry descriptive alternative text, so their content is announced to screen reader users. Headings follow a logical order that can be used to navigate the page. Form fields have visible labels rather than relying on placeholder text alone. Links open in the same tab unless stated otherwise. Interactive elements show a visible focus indicator for keyboard users, and the volunteer form opens in a dialog that keeps keyboard focus inside it and returns focus when closed.
Some content on this site comes from third-party plugins and services, including our events calendar and our ticketing provider. We do not control the accessibility of those systems, and pages hosted elsewhere may not meet the same standard. Small decorative text, such as the uppercase labels above section headings, may be difficult to read at default sizes for some visitors. If you find something that does not work for you, we would like to know.
